Maryland Alpha Permanent Fund
The Permanent Fund exists to provide continuity, support, and opportunity to the Maryland Alpha brotherhood. It is used first and foremost to ensure that the chapter will always have a safe, secure, and welcoming chapter house that we can be proud to call home. The Permanent Fund is managed and controlled by the House Corporation for the long-term benefit of the chapter.

THE MARYLAND ALPHA CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP FUND

A 501(c)(3) Corporation.

The Maryland Alpha Chapter Scholarship Fund (CSF) is used to finance annual scholarships for undergraduates who apply for awards based on academic achievement and leadership.

The fund is managed, along with the CSFs of all other chapters, by the Endowment Fund of Phi Kappa Psi, but it is used exclusively for the benefit of Maryland Alpha. The annual scholarships are financed by the interest generated by the fund; the principal is never spent.

Every gift to the CSF is an investment in the future of Maryland Alpha. The scholarship program supported by the CSF helps the chapter to recruit men who are committed to academic excellence. It fosters and recognizes academic achievement and leadership among the brotherhood. It is a tangible expression of the fact that the fraternity exists to support and enhance the educational mission of the University.
